UK: Amazon has been expected to launch its own fashion brand in the UK with an aim to grab the US $ 3 trillion global fashion market. The move was aimed to lure consumers away from online retailers ASOS, Zalando and Yoox. The online retailer also lately launched its own brand of athletic apparels as part of its clothing business efforts. Amazon’s share in the apparel market has been expected to grow to 8.2% in the current year and further expand to 16.2% in next five years. Currently, it is around 6.6% in the US apparel market.
