USA: Under Armour, has debuted an initial line of “Made in America” apparels, manufactured at the company’s new Innovation Centre in Baltimore.

The first line initially features 2,000 units, priced US $ 120 for leggings and US $ 50 for bras – under a collection called ‘Arris Project’. The sportswear retailer has further committed to designing and manufacturing more apparels and footwear out of its UA Lighthouse, which is a 35,000-square-foot facility opened last year. The brand is working with partner firms at Lighthouse to create a new model for manufacturing, using state-of-the-art technologies such as 3D printers that make sneakers; a full-body scanner that measures individuals for personalized apparels; and robotic machinery for more efficient production.
