E-Tailer Tata CLiQ appoints new CEO

Mumbai: Indian e-tailer, Tata CLiQ has named Vikas Purohit as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), as its incumbent CEO Ashutosh Pandey bids adieu to pursue career opportunities outside of Tata CLiQ, a Tata-Group venture. And by appointing Purohit, the company, has once again relied on its in-house talent for the top post. He joined Tata CLiQ in November 2016 as its first-ever Chief Operating Officer (COO) entrusted to spearhead the company’s commercial and seller management functions.

Being an insider and well-versed with the company strengths as well as capabilities, the management perhaps feels that Purohit would be the best person to usher the company into the next phase of its growth in the constantly evolving Indian retail scenario.

As per the company statement, the Purohit will assume office as CEO of Tata CLiQ with effect from July 2018.
