Gerber to host traveling technology shows

USA: Gerber Technology is going to host industry’s first traveling technology showcase – Roadshow West in New York on 24th February and Roadshow East in San Francisco, USA on 28th February that will help attendees discover digital technology to maximize profitability, promote collaboration and accelerate time to market.

The highlights of the roadshows include Digitization in FashionTech – key trends and how to compete in the digital world; The Future is in the Cloud – a discussion of the benefits and security of the cloud computing; Fast Fashion and Social Responsibility – a look at how technology can support business practices that are good for your business and society; and Shining a Light on the Supply Chain – discovering techniques to improve supply chain collaboration to cut time to market, boost productivity and profits. In addition, some other topics that will be covered are We Live in a 3D World – exploring the impact of 3D on design, sampling, merchandising and PLM; Are You Ready for On-Demand Manufacturing – learning how new technology is reshaping business allowing small runs and mass customization in fashion; and Technology is Fashion-Forward – the future of fashion tech in a fashion show finale.
