Mumbai: Cherokee Global Brands, a global brand marketing platform that manages a growing portfolio of fashion and lifestyle brands, has announced financial results for the second quarter ended July 29, 2017. During the reporting quarter, the company’s GAAP operating loss stood at US $ 1 million as against GAAP operating income of US $ 2.5 million in the same quarter of 2016.
GAAP operating loss for the first two-quarters remained US $ 3.1 million compared to GAAP operating income of US $ 6.8 million in the corresponding period of last year. Cherokee Global Brands further reported a non-GAAP operating income of US $ 0.8 million in the second quarter as against US $ 3.2 million in the second quarter of 2016.
Non-GAAP operating income for the first six months stood at US $ 0.9 million compared to US $ 8.2 million in the first six months of 2016. The consolidated revenue was US $ 14 million. The company’s adjusted EBITDA remained US $ 1.2 million compared to US $ 3.5 million in the same quarter of the previous fiscal. For the six-month period, the adjusted EBITDA totalled US $ 1.9 million versus US $ 8.9 million in the prior-year period.
