Mumbai: H&M is all set to open stores in four key Indian cities, namely Indore, Coimbatore, Kolkata and Amritsar this month. The upcoming Indore store will be thrown open to the public on September 16, followed by Coimbatore on 22nd, Kolkata on 23rd and Amritsar on 30th. H&M believes that these markets hold great potential and will help the company grow.
Mumbai: H&M is all set to open stores in four key Indian cities, namely Indore, Coimbatore, Kolkata and Amritsar this month. The upcoming Indore store will be thrown open to the public on September 16, followed by Coimbatore on 22nd, Kolkata on 23rd and Amritsar on 30th. H&M believes that these markets hold great potential and will help the company grow.
The new stores will cover over 75,000 square feet of retail space. H&M’s fresh women’s, men’s, and children’s clothing collections, accessories, and footwear will be featured at the stores.
The Swedish fashion retailer currently operates 17 stores across India and aims to have over 25 by the end of the current year. The retail expansion is a part of H&M’s proposed investment of Euro 100 million for the label in the Indian market.
Furthermore, H&M strategizing to start selling online in India from next year onwards.
