Germany: Thies a German dyeing, bleaching and drying equipment manufacturer introduces its ‘iMaster Mini’ machine for yarn dyeing, which can carry out pre-treatment, bleaching, and dyeing processes as well as efficient rinsing and cleaning processes at varying liquor ratios. The piece of equipment, which has a capacity of between 20 and 80 kg, matches the performance of the company’s ‘iMaster H20’ machine, which itself has capacities of between 100 and 2000 kg. This enables flexible design of the treatment process and decreases the chemical consumption and the use of textile auxiliaries to a necessary minimum.
The infeed of dyes and chemicals takes place with the aid of the ‘Smart Dose’ system from Thies – as is the case of the iMaster H2O. This means dosing of the products can be set precisely to individual requirements and dosing times can be significantly reduced.
